What We Do
Auddy is a B2B audio company. Our central solution is Campfire: an end-to-end private podcast solution: a proprietary distribution platform backed by full-service creative, production, and editorial support from an award-winning team.
Most audio platforms are built for the open internet – anyone can find your show, nobody tells you who’s actually listening. Campfire is the opposite. It’s a private, invitation-only channel that sits inside your own ecosystem – your intranet, your investor portal, your own branded page – rather than sending your audience off to someone else’s app. You decide who gets access. You get real data on what they did with it: who listened, how far they got, where they dropped off.
Organisations use Campfire to talk to the people who matter most to them: staff, investors, members, fans. The size of that audience can be fifty people or five million – the product doesn’t change, only the scale of support around it.
Auddy was founded in 2020 and has grown into three interconnected business arms:
- Media buying (providing programmatic podcast advertising and host-read sponsorships in UK and DACH markets, with roughly 250 million impressions a month)
- Campfire itself, which supports multiple monetisation strategies for clients.
- A programme management team (handling covering creative and editorial aspects like project management and production).
This last team functions as a managed service to support Campfire clients. That combination – content, commercial audio, and a private platform – is unusual, and our unique expertise is part of why organizations come to us instead of piecing together a platform vendor and agency separately.
Who We Serve
Auddy’s Campfire solution works for a wide range of organizations, because the underlying problem is the same one whether you’re a corporate firm briefing shareholders or staff, or a musician talking to paying fans: you want to improve engagement, and you need better data to understand how your audience is actually consuming your content.
That range shows up in who actually uses it.
- An internal comms leader can use Campfire to get her CEO’s voice in front of ten thousand global employees and frontline workers, perfectly segmented across roles or locations, without worrying about IT or compliance issues.
- An investor relations leader can use Campfire to distribute strategy briefs and market commentary in a format investors will actually finish – helping drive better engagement with retail investors and institutional investors alike.
- Creators, recording artists, and other brand leaders use Campfire to run subscriber-only shows for the fans who pay to be there – allowing our clients to diversify revenue streams, get a direct channel to fans, and learn more about their audience with industry-leading analytics capabilities.
Many clients don’t merely use the platform – they lean on Auddy to run a whole podcast program: ideation, guest booking, recording, editing, and a steady cadence, so nothing depends on someone internally finding the time or staff.
Why Audio, and Why Private?
Two problems keep coming up with public podcast platforms, regardless of who’s asking. First, they tell you almost nothing about your audience – not who’s listening, not what they actually consumed, not where or when. Second, there’s no way to control who gets in. Anyone can find the show, download it, and pass it around.
It’s a bit like selling a book in a bookstore: you have no idea who bought it, you learn nothing about them, and you can’t decide who’s allowed to read it.
Campfire solves both. Content lives behind access control you set, inside your own environment rather than a separate app people have to be told to download. And because every listener is known, the data is real: not estimated impressions, but who listened, how long, and whether they came back.
Audio also just gets consumed differently. People listen while driving, working out, or commuting – attention that a two-minute video or a skimmed email doesn’t get. A well-produced update, sent to a named list, with someone able to see whether it landed, tends to outperform whatever it replaced.
Our Background
Auddy was founded in 2020 by Andrew Craissati (CEO) together with senior executives from Netflix, Warner Music, and EMI.
Andrew spent over 30 years across investment banking and media before starting Auddy – including running a technology and media investment bank and working on hundreds of IPOs – plus senior roles at Virgin Group (where he was Chairman and CEO across Asia Pacific and founded Virgin Radio International), Universal Studios, and National Geographic.
That combination shows up directly in the product. Auddy understands the compliance and disclosure realities that IR and legal teams live inside, because Andrew has sat on that side of the table. And the company was built by people who spent careers making audio and video worth people’s time, not just technically available to them.
Auddy started in the UK and now has a presence in the US and EU, and is backed by VCs and angel investors including Pembroke VCT, Haatch Ventures, and Brick Capital Ventures.
Auddy holds listed-partner status in the London Stock Exchange Group’s Issuer Services Marketplace – an invitation-only network of vetted specialist partners for listed companies – and has been recognised with numerous industry awards and recognitions across podcasting and business categories, including Communicator Award for Innovation in Content Distribution Strategy.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Auddy? Auddy is a B2B audio solutions firm. Its product, Campfire, is an end-to-end private podcast solution – a proprietary distribution platform supported by full-service creative and editorial support – used for investor relations, internal communications, and marketing to reach audiences directly. Auddy also runs an audio advertising and sponsorship business for clients targeting UK and DACH markets.
What is Campfire? Campfire is a private, access-controlled audio platform. Unlike public podcast platforms, content is only available to people the client chooses, distributed inside the client’s own environment rather than a separate destination app, with detailed listener analytics on completion, drop-off, and replays.
How is Campfire different from a public podcast? Public platforms are open by design – anyone can find, download, and redistribute an episode, and you get almost no data on who’s actually listening. Campfire is invitation-only: access is controlled, content can’t be freely redistributed, and every listener is known, so the analytics are real rather than estimated.
Who uses Campfire? A wide range of organizations, from Fortune 500 and FTSE organisations on the one hand, to creators, publishers, and entertainment brands running subscriber-only shows for their communities. The common thread is wanting a direct channel with real control and real data, or a means to monetise an existing audience.
Do clients need their own content team or production team to use Campfire? No. Many clients rely on Auddy to run the entire program – concepts, guest outreach, recording, editing, and a consistent publishing cadence – so Campfire functions as a managed service built on top of the platform, not just software handed over.
